Scott Rose
Chief Investment Officer
Scott Rose is the Chief Investment Officer of Fifth Season Investments. Prior to Fifth Season Investments, Scott was Vice President and Co-founder of Fifth Season Financial LP and the Chapford Capital Group. Under the Chapford umbrella, over a ten year period, Scott was involved in raising and managing three separate life settlement funds and a managed account with AUM of approximately $360 million.
He previously co-founded Amphibious Holdings LLC, a company specializing in the development, acquisition, and operation of franchise businesses. Prior to Amphibious, Scott was the principal and founder of Barrett Advisors LLC, an investment advisory firm focused on life insurance-based investments that managed over $1 billion and invested in over $10 billion of face value of insurance policies. While at Barrett, he designed, developed, structured and implemented numerous finance programs and other related investment strategies.
In addition, Scott co-founded and managed Premium Capital Group LLC, a boutique financial consulting firm specializing in advising high and ultra-high net worth individuals on estate planning, insurance and financing matters.
Earlier in his career, Scott worked as an attorney and was Vice President and General Counsel of A.I. Credit Corp., an American International Group, Inc. (NYSE: AIG) subsidiary responsible for making commercial loans. Before joining A.I. Credit Corp, Scott worked as a corporate attorney at the New York law firm of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, where he specialized in commercial banking, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, capital markets and other financing transactions.
Scott graduated from Cornell University with a B.A. in Psychology. He also holds a JD from the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned cum laude and Order of the Coif distinctions.
